Introduction

A list of tests for the Media Manager Images Plugin

Check Points

1. Check to see that the Images plugin will open in the Media Manager
2. Appearance – check to see that the following buttons are visible:
   • "Load a new image"
   • "Delete the selected item"
   • "Preview the selected item"
   • "Send the selected item to live"
   • "Add the selected item(s) to the service"
   • "Override background" check box
3. Function – test the following functions:
   1. Load a new image button
      • click the load button - a file browser should load
      • browse computer and open an image(s)
      • a thumbnail and name of the image should appear in the Images plugin
      • load several other images
   2. Delete the selected item button
      • select a loaded image and click the delete button
      • check to see that the image is removed
   3. Preview the selected item button
      • select a loaded image and click the preview button
      • the image should appear in the preview window
   4. Send the selected item to live button
      • select a loaded image and click the live button
      • the image should appear in the live window and on the Display Window
   5. Add the selected item(s) to the service button
      • select an image and click the add to service button
      • check to see that the image appears in the Service Manager
        • select multiple images and add to service
   6. Override background check box
      • check the override background box,select an image, and double click preview
      • then preview a song from the Songs plugin
      • the image selected above should display as the song's background if the theme has a transparent background
4. Preview and Live Integration with multiple images
   • select multiple images and preview
   • check for the images in the preview Slide Controller
   • click on the preview images and check to see that they appear in the preview thumbnail
   • click on the move to next/previous buttons and check for the preview thumbnail to change accordingly
   • click on the Move to live button (in the preview Slide Controller)
     1. test switching between images in the live Slide Controller by clicking on the images and using the Move to next /previous /last /first buttons
     2. the live thumbnail and display window should change accordingly
     3. click the Blank Screen button and check to see that the Display Window goes black
     4. test the Start /Stop continuous loop buttons
        • Start button:
          • the images should scroll through at the set time on both the live thumbnail and Display Window
        • Stop button:
          • the images should stop scrolling and remain on the image stopped at
        • test different times (eg. 5 and 10 seconds)
     5. in the Images plugin, select multiple images and send to live
        • test the live Slide Controller again with steps 4,1 - 4,4
